Margi Woolman – Tabban’s Member of the Month
Trained by Doreen Nicolaou & Tabban PT Client Since 2013
Congratulations to Margi Woolman – Tabban’s Member of the Month! Margie called Tabban and asked Doreen to help her reach her goal to lose 8kg for her trip to Bali in five weeks.
Margie was motivated, focused and was determined to reach her goal. She never missed a day of the SHAPE Program® or cardio and adhered to her Tabban eating plan to the letter. She followed all of Doreen’s instructions and was a power house of strength during her training sessions, never giving in to challenges set. It all paid off when she flew to Bali 8kg lighter.
With her first goal achieved she has moved forward to setting a new goal to compete. So far Margie has lost a total of 11kg, attends posing classes at Tabban and is inspired to put on her new heels to strut her newly shaped body on stage. We look forward to supporting and inspiring Margie reach her new goals.
Tell us a little about yourself?
I’m the mother of four (six really), I have worked as a fitness instructor for fifteen years. I stopped when I shifted to Melbourne from Echuca four years ago. Nowadays, I am a full-time Mum, again.
How long have you been training at Tabban?
On and off since 2013 with my most recent return to training in May this year.
What motivates you to go to the gym?
I was going to Bali, told Doreen I wanted to lose eight kilos in five weeks. She said, we’ll see how we go. Sure enough eight kilos lighter I think I looked pretty trim in Bali.
How do you think your PT sessions have helped you?
Doreen is a wonderful motivator, she keeps it fun, she keeps it interesting. Plus she keeps it real because she does it herself. It is just so much easier working in a group, you get to meet really nice people.
What has been your biggest challenge since starting?
Losing weight and toning up but because I feel so much better in myself, in my head, it hasn’t been hard.
What have you enjoyed most about training?
I love doing weights, I love feeling stronger.
What is the biggest thing you have noticed between when you started and now?
What advice would you give someone who is feeling a little leery of starting the shape program?
Do it, it could be the best thing you have ever done with your life.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
I couldn’t have done it without Doreen. She makes me want to go to the gym, helps me work hard when I am there, and keeps me on track in between. She inspires me, there should be a lot of more Doreens around the world. Thank you so much Dor!
