Where is Tabban Muscle & Body Shape?
Tabban is located at 1/25 Wangaratta Street in Richmond, Melbourne.
With plenty of nearby limited parking, the gym is a 2 minute walk from Richmond Train Station and the Lennox Street / Swan Street Tram stop for 70 Waterfront City Docklands – Wattle Park.

Who are Tabban’s Personal Trainers?
Tabban has expert male and female Personal Trainers who’ve been working in the fitness industry collectively for over a century.
Our master Trainers are Michael Tabban owner, coach and trainer of many world title winners. We have world title winning figure athletes turned Personal Trainers. Areti and Doreen who’ve become part of the Tabban family after going through Personal Training programs at Tabban to win world titles. Our newest trainer to join Tabban Muscle and Body Shape is Cyrus also mentored by Michael Tabban.

When is the gym open?
Tabban Muscle & Body Shape in Richmond is open:
- Monday to Thursday 6am to 9.30pm
- Friday: 6am to 9pm
- Saturday: 9am to 4pm
- Sunday: 11am to 3pm
What should I bring?
Comfortable workout clothes, a sweat towel, water and proper training shoes (no thongs or open toed shoes).
Where can I store my stuff?
We have lockers available in public space and both men’s and women’s changing rooms. They have an optional key -$2 coin required to activate and to be returned after use.
Can I do a trial at the gym?
Yes, we have a complimentary 7 day pass with 1 complimentary personal training session. Contact us to get started on 03 9427 8735.

Does the gym offer classes?
We do not offer fitness classes at this stage.
We hold Pose Classes most Wednesday evenings. Please see the Tabban Facebook Page for our latest news and class times.

We have fitness safety equipment, merchandise and supplements. At our Richmond gym, we have Tabban water bottles, water, hydrating drinks, protien snacks and supplements available as well as Tabban apparel for men and women including gym bags, jumpers, singlets and our ‘Body Under Construction’ singlets.

Personal Training Sessions & Working Out
What are the available hours for training sessions?
Training hours are on the hour.
Monday – Friday, our first session is 6am and last session is 8pm. Saturday trainings are from 9am – 3pm. Sunday no Personal Training sessions available but the gym is still open.

What’s the benefits of having a personal trainer?
When you use a Personal Trainer, you’re benefiting from their experience and knowledge of the fitness industry. Our Personal Trainers are all world class Body Builders and know exactly how to work bodies to get desired results. Working closely with a Personal Trainers helps to keep you accountable to your routine, offers regular outside assessment on progress, along with tips on proper form and exercise tips.
How many sessions do you recommend a week?
Here at Tabban MBS, we are happy to cater to everyone’s needs. We do recommend the 4 days per week training as it is the SHAPE Program that works on different areas over these 4 days to get that “symmetrical shape”
How long do the Personal Training sessions go for and what do they involve?
Personal Training sessions last approx 1 Hour – 5 min warm up, approx 50mins weight lifting and 5-10 min abs at the end of every session.
What happens if I’m late or can’t make it?
If you’re late that is fine, you just need to join in when you arrive, if you can’t make it, we need 24 hours notice and we can move your session Free of charge. If you call with only a few hours until your session, you will lose this session.
How long until I see results?
Body shape changes take different lengths for every person. We cannot tell you how long the kind of results you’re expecting your results will take until we see you! Generally if you start a balanced training program, such as the SHAPE Program, you will be able to see changes within a month or two.
Can I get nutrition advice?
Yes, we have tailored nutrition to suit all lifestyles. Contact our team to book in to chat about your requirements.
We have online nutrition programs for men and women wanting to focus on losing weight or gain muscle.
What should I know if I want to compete?

I have an injury, can I still train?
It is under the recommendations that you do not train unless fit to do so or have been cleared by your doctor or physician, however, you can train other areas of your body that are not affected by the injury if possible. We always take care of everyone who trains at Tabban. Feel free to discuss your requirements with our team and we can ensure that your program and exercises are tailored to your body.
How should I track my results?
You can track your results in many different ways – it all depends what kind of results you most want to see.
- Photos are the best way to see results. Take pictures from the front, back and side to see your body changes and use poses to show muscle changes.
- Weigh-ins will show you regular changes over time.
- Measurements of body areas will show changes in dimension.
- Dexa Scans will show a range of helpful statistics like fat and muscle. percentage.
