Come Dine With Doreen – Protein Pancakes
Healthy Recipes provided by Tabban’s very own ‘Energizer Bunny’ & ‘Master Chef Extraordinaire’ PT, Doreen Nicolaou They look like they have just been made by a chef but any home cook can create them!
3 Egg Whites
1/4 cup of Oat Bran
1/4 cup of ricotta cheese
1/2 scoop of vanilla protein powder
Place 3 egg whites in a bowl with ricotta cheese and whisk with a fork.
Add dry ingredients and continue to whisk until smooth pancake like mixture.
Spray a hot non stick pan with coconut oil.
Pour pancake batter into hot pan.
When pancake starts to bubble flip over and cook other side.
First pancake usually doesn’t work out but the second pancake will!
Fill pancake with ricotta cheese and decorate with a sprinkle of cocoa with fresh strawberries – Yum!
